What is BidTropolis
BidTropolis are timed auctions, user earns bids by completing rewards and/or pay-per-bid, and the last bidder when the timer hits 0 wins.
How does the AutoBidder work?
Don't have time to be online to bid on your favorite auction? Set up an AutoBidder to bid on the item for you! Just let the AutoBidder know what item you want to bid on, how many bids you are willing to place and the price range you want to bid in and the AutoBidder will do the rest and place the bids for you! The Autobids are always placed in the last 10 seconds of an auction, so you won't waste any bids!
How do I earn free bids?
Visit the Earn Bids page to see all offers to earn free bids. Simply choose a task in one of the categories and complete it, whether it is watching a commerical, completing a survey, registering for a service, website, etc and the bid(s) will be added to your account.
How does bidding work?
How it works:
1. Users earns free bids and/or purchase bids
2. Items being auctioned typically start at $0.00
3. The price of the item will raise 1 penny per with each bid placed.
4. With each bid placed, more time will be added to the timer, varies from a few seconds to minutes.
5. The last bidder showing when the timer hits 0 is the winner, and has to then confirm their win, pay any final auction price to receive their item.
I"ve just won an auction. What now?
First, Congratulations - Well done on winning the auction! Confirming your win Once the auction has ended, you?ll be automatically transferred to a page where we?ll ask you to confirm that you still want the item and explain what to do next. You'll have the opportunity to redeem any vouchers you may have and will be told how to pay the final amount. We'll also contact you via e-mail to explain how to do all this.
Just remember to confirm that you still want the item within 7 days of the end of the auction. If you still haven?t confirmed within 21 days, we?ll assume that you?ve changed your mind and no longer want to buy the item. Paying for the item you won Just as for your bids, you can pay for your item via PayPal. Please make sure that you pay within 7 days of the end of the auction. We?ll confirm your payment via e-mail and arrange for the item to be shipped to you.
Q: What is a auction timer?
A: A auction timer is what defines the beginning and end of an auction. Unlike most timers, these timers get time added on to them with each bid. Anytime there is a bid placed in the last 15 seconds, the auction will be extended by 10 seconds.
Q: What is the retail value ?
A: The retail value is the estimated value of the item being auctioned off. Being that our items are collectibles, the retail value is just an estimate of what you could expect to pay in a retail setting and to be used as guide only.
Q: What is a bid price?
A: The bid price, is the price it costs to buy one bid. Most auctions sell these bids in “bid packs” in small groups of bids. 25, 50, 100 and 250 bids at a time.
Q: What is Autobidder?
A: Autobidder will make bids on your behalf within the price range you set, and the number of bids to use. Autobidder will bid at any random time during the auction.
You can set the Autobidder to bid for you:

Starting Bid Price: $2.00
Maximum Bid Price : $2.50
Bids to use: 50
With the above set criteria, the Autobidder will bid for you once the price is between$2.00 and $2.50.
Q: What are win limits?
A: Win limits are used to keep one or a group of people from dominating a penny auction. They limit the amount a person or user account can win, inside a specified time frame. There is a limit of 1 auction win per day, 5 per month. These limits can be changed with-out notification.
Substitute items
Substitute items On rare occasions we are no longer able to source the specific item detailed in the auction. When this happens, we will contact you and offer to send you an equivalent item of at least equal value. Many of the products we sell are high-technology items that have a short life-cycle, so often this will mean an upgrade to the newer version of the item
Delivery Charges
The delivery charges for each item are shown on the auction description page. The charges shown are for delivery to US addresses. We can deliver items to other countries at an additional expense.test 2
